Bipolarity

A lot has been said about “stress” in the last past two decades. This phenomenon affects mostly people who work many hours a day or those who are exposed to high emotional situations. Most common symptoms of stress are depression and lack of energy.

As it definition makes reference, depression is a mental disorder characterized by feelings of sadness, hopelessness, pessimism, and a general lost of interest in life. In most of the cases, people experiment a combination of symptoms which affect their social life, work and family relations. Patients suffering from bipolar depression develop a deep feeling of sadness and hopelessness. Statistically the number of suicides is committed by people suffering the disease.

Specialists are persuading patients to test new alternative therapies to supplement the traditional drug treatment which becomes-in longer term treatments- one of the causers of depression. Moreover, experts agreed in the fact that it is vital for the treatment to success the cooperation of the patient’s closed relatives. They need to feel their not alone in this journey to their recovery. Moreover, family members should also be under psychological treatment so they can understand the origins of this disease and can be able to deal with its treatment.

“Our moods are rarely completely stable and the world would be a very boring place if they were”.
